Founded in February 2009, Gala Precision Engineering Limited specializes in manufacturing precision components, including disc and strip springs (DSS), coil and spiral springs (CSS), and special fastening solutions (SFS). These products are primarily supplied to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
Gala’s components are utilized across various sectors, such as electrical, off-highway equipment, infrastructure, general engineering, and mobility segments, including automotive and railway industries.
With a global footprint, Gala has supplied its technical springs and high-tensile fasteners to customers in countries like Germany, Denmark, China, Italy, Brazil, the USA, Sweden, and Switzerland, playing a vital role in the OEM global supply chain.
The company’s operations are divided into two main divisions:
- The Springs Technology Division, which produces DSS, including Wedge Lock Washers (WLW), and CSS.
- The Special Fastening Solutions (SFS) division, which manufactures anchor bolts, studs, and nuts.

The IPO price band for Gala Precision Engineering is set between ₹503 and ₹529 per share. Investors must apply for a minimum lot size of 28 shares. Retail investors need to invest a minimum of ₹14,812. For small non-institutional investors (sNII), the minimum investment is 14 lots (392 shares), totaling ₹207,368. For big non-institutional investors (bNII), the minimum requirement is 68 lots (1,904 shares), amounting to ₹1,007,216.
The Gala Precision Engineering IPO will open for subscription on September 2, 2024, and close on September 4, 2024. The allotment of shares is expected to be finalized on Thursday, September 5, 2024. Gala Precision Engineering is set to be listed on both the BSE and NSE, with a tentative listing date of Monday, September 9, 2024.
